Some pet owners think that crate training is mean. Think about it, your pet needs direction and boundaries just like children do. Starting your pet off in a crate is recommended by Vets and Breeders. Your pet learns right off the bat where there "bedroom" is. Dogs are "den" creatures and like the environment if it is made comfortable for them. Especially with puppies that chew, you want to make sure you have a non-toxic crate, throw in a crate bed, toys and chews, and you have welcomed your new arrival to your family.
